What the notice usually means
- Meta is asking for business or advertiser verification on the portfolio or ad account. - Ads keep running until the date shown, unless something else is wrong. - After the date, Meta can limit delivery on accounts that have not finished the check. Advertisers on X this week quoted a 10 November date. Go by the date shown in your own account.
Steps before the date
- Open the notice in Account Quality or Security Center and note the exact wording and date.
- Open Business settings, then Business info, and compare the legal name, address, phone and website with your company registration.
- Fix any difference so the details match the documents exactly.
- Start verification from Security Center and upload documents that show the same name and address.
- Keep the confirmation, and check the status every couple of days.
If the details on file are wrong
Change them before you start verification, not during it. A legal name or address that differs from the documents is one of the most common reasons for a rejected verification. If the old details belonged to a previous company, see business verification documents rejected.
