Ads not spending: delivery problem or restriction?

Ads that do not spend are not always restricted. Check the ad status, the budget, the schedule, the payment method and Account Quality in that order. A restriction shows a notice. A delivery problem usually does not.

If there is no notice

The cause is often in the ad set: small audience, low bid, end date passed, or a payment method needing action. Fix those first.

If there is a notice

Follow the notice. See ads stopped with no notice for a longer check.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Ads Account Recovery is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Can an ad be in review for long?

Reviews are usually brief but can take longer. If an ad is stuck, edit nothing and check again later.
