An admin on the portfolio can follow the help options. An agency cannot skip Meta's queue.

Business verification in progress: wait or escalate

When Meta shows business verification in progress, often with a note that it usually finishes within about 48 hours, wait for that window before you escalate. Escalating early with the same documents rarely helps. Use the time to check that every name and address still matches, and escalate only when the status stays stuck past the window Meta showed, or when ads stay blocked with no update.

While you wait

Screenshot the status and the date you submitted.
Confirm the legal name, address and registration number match the portfolio.
Keep payment methods and admins stable.
Do not open a second portfolio to bypass the check.

When waiting still makes sense

The clock Meta showed has not passed.
The status still says in progress, not rejected.
You have not been asked for new documents.

When to escalate

The status is unchanged after the window Meta showed.
The notice now says rejected or needs more information.
Ads stay limited and Account Quality shows a separate review option.
Use Business Support Home or the help option on the notice, not a stranger in your DMs.
