Cannot pay the balance or add a card on a disabled ad account

When an ad account is disabled, Meta usually blocks new payment methods and manual payments in that account, but any unpaid balance can still be charged to the card already on file. Do not open a new ad account to get around it. Request a review of the disabled account first, then deal with billing once its status is clear.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What happens to unused prepaid funds?

Meta's billing help pages explain what happens to unused prepaid funds when an account is closed or disabled. Ask support from the account itself.

Can I pay the balance by another card?

Only if Meta offers the option. In most disabled accounts it does not.

Does paying the balance reopen the account?

No. Payment and the policy review are separate.
