Payment declined and ads stopped

When a payment fails, Meta may pause ads until the balance is settled. Check the billing page for the error, update or retry the payment method and clear what is owed. If the account is also restricted, request a review after the payment clears.

Where to see the problem

Open billing and payments in Ads Manager. It shows failed charges, the amount owed and the payment method status.

Fix steps

Check the card is valid and has funds.
Retry or add another payment method you own.
Pay the balance shown.
Wait for the status to update and check Business Support Home.

If ads stay stopped

Request a review once. Say the payment is settled and give the date.
