Notice asks you to confirm it is you on the ad account

A prompt to confirm your identity is a security check, not a punishment. Complete it inside Meta's own pages, from the profile that received it. If you cannot see the prompt, check Business Support Home and the email on the profile.

Where it appears

  1. Open Ads Manager directly, not through a link.
  2. Find the prompt and follow it.
  3. Confirm any code sent to your own phone or email.
  4. Check that the restriction line clears.

Phishing warning

Fake notices copy this wording. If the message asks for your password or a payment, close it and open Meta's site yourself.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Ads Account Recovery is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.
