Several ad accounts disabled with the same payment method

If every ad account you add a card to is disabled, the payment method itself may be linked to an earlier restriction. Stop creating new accounts and stop adding that card. Request a review on the oldest disabled account, and use a payment method in the legal name of the business that owns the portfolio.

Why it happens

Steps

  1. List each disabled account, its ID and the date it was disabled.
  2. Remove the card from accounts that are still active.
  3. Request a review on the first account that was disabled.
  4. When you add a new payment method, use one in the business's own name.
  5. Add it once, then wait. Do not retry on several accounts the same day.

Signals that help

A verified business portfolio, two-factor authentication on every admin and a payment method whose name matches the business.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is the card banned forever?

Meta does not publish that. Treat it as linked and use another method in the business's name.

Should I use a different person's card?

No. A card that does not match the business owner tends to add risk.

Can a new business portfolio fix it?

Opening new portfolios after a restriction can be read as avoiding enforcement.
