Save your campaign data from a disabled ad account

While an ad account is disabled you can often still open it to read reports and billing history. Export what you can now, if the review fails. Reports, audiences and invoices are worth more to you than the account itself.

Export these first

How

  1. Open Ads Reporting and set the date range to the full life of the account.
  2. Choose the breakdowns you use and export as a spreadsheet.
  3. Download invoices from billing.
  4. Save everything outside Meta with the date in the file name.

What you cannot always save

Creative files can be hard to pull from a locked account. Keep your own originals in a folder from now on.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Ads Account Recovery is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can I still see reports on a disabled account?

Often yes, but behaviour can vary, so check on your own screen.

Will exporting hurt the review?

No. Exporting is read only and does not change the status.

Do audiences move to a new account?

Not automatically. Check what sharing options exist before you rely on that.
