Restricted ad account: one admin sees the notice, another does not

Business Support Home can look different for different people because it depends on the person's role and permissions. If one admin sees a restriction and another sees none, compare the roles and the business portfolio each is looking at.

Common reasons

Check together

  1. Both open the ad account ID directly.
  2. Compare the business portfolio name in the top left.
  3. Compare roles under People.
  4. Screenshot the notice from the account that can see it.

Why it matters

Review requests usually go through the person who can see the restriction. Make sure that person has the access Meta asks for.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Ads Account Recovery is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can a restriction be hidden from some people?

It can be visible only where the person has the permission to see it.

Which admin should file the review?

The one who sees the notice and has full control.

Does a second login fix this?

No. Fix the role, not the login.
